Hi APRA,
At this link on the APRA site
http://www.apra.com.au/writers/forms_and_guidelines/
creative_commons.asp APRA say's "and the uncertainty and difficulty of
defining exactly what "non-commercial use" means - make it imperative
for any member to ensure that he or she obtains competent legal advice
before signing up.
Please view the pdf at this link
http://wiki.creativecommons.org/NonCommercial_Guidelines. Creative
Commons wants every one who uses their license's to understand the
context of the license and what It means when an artist put this
license on her or his works. http://creativecommons.org/about/think .
In the last email I got from APRA, the chief executive Mr Cottle said
he would make no change to the way APRA view the creative commons. I
thought to send this through.
